On 23 October a concert was held in the newly renovated Hall of Bogislav X of the Ducal Castle in Szczecin in celebration of the opening of the Castle's north wing to the public.

For almost 2 years we have been carrying out a comprehensive and complicated renovation of the north wing, where the castle museum is located. We have conducted large-scale construction and modernization works as well as performing archaeological, conservation and restoration works.

The archaeological excavations unearthed the 14th century relics of St. Otto's Church and the outline of defensive walls, which were properly treated and secured, and are now exhibited. In the Hall of Bogislav X we decorated fragments of the walls with polychromies inspired by Renaissance ornamentation which had existed there before.
The inaugural celebrations lasted 3 days, attracting large numbers of visitors.
